    Summary:

    The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, and its prime contractor, Trumbull Corporations, have notified Pittsburgh Regional Transit of lane restrictions on Pittsburgh/McKeesport Boulevard And Richland Avenue in Dravosburg for roadway and drainage improvements related to the Mon-Fayette Expressway Extension Project effective immediately.

    It has been determined that the stops at Richland Avenue opposite 5th Street (Stop ID 22839) and Richland Avenue at 5th Street (Stop ID 22838) will be discontinued effective immediately and continue until further notice. The project is expected to last approximately two (2) years.

    Due to safety concerns and inaccessibility due to the construction zone, there will be no safe alternative for a relocation on Richland Avenue.

    Alternative stop for the Outbound 56 - Lincoln Place and 59 - Mon Valley will be Richland Avenue at Bridge Steps (Stop ID 10941)

    Alternative stop for the Inbound 56 - Lincoln Place and 59 - Mon Valley will be Richland Avenue at 3rd Street (Stop ID 11005)

    There is a posted pedestrian detour posted by the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission and the contractor, Trumbull Corporations that will lead pedestrians to the proper side of Richland Avenue utilizing the newly constructed pedestrian ramp at the entrance to the Mansfield Bridge.
