The Saw Mill Run Boulevard Bridge, a Port Authority-owned and maintained bridge that carries the South Busway over Saw Mill Run Boulevard in Pittsburgh's Mt. Washington neighborhood, closed to both bus and light-rail traffic on February 4 when the bridge unexpectedly shifted after water in the concrete support structure froze during a winter storm.

On Saturday, May 14, the bridge reopened to bus traffic. Light-rail vehicles are expected to return to using the bridge by the end of the month, after track work at Fallowfield Station in Beechview is completed. That work began on May 3.

Red Line service will continue to detour. Please see below for updated bus shuttle information.

Blue Line and Silver Line service are not affected.

Detours may be updated so please check back with this page. If you have any questions, Customer Service is available at 412-442-2000, on Twitter @PghTransitCare, and on LiveChat.
