The City of Pittsburgh Office of Film & Special Events have provided a permit to Warner Brother Television, producers of "The Pitt", to intermittently close the Ninth Street (Rachel Carson) Bridge on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, for filming actives.
Film work will occur Tuesday, October 27, 2026, from approximately 6:00 PM to around 1:00 AM. Police Officers will be on scene assisting with the closures.
Closure periods are expected to last no more than five (5) minutes at a time. Operators approaching the bridge during an active closure should expect a temporary delay and remain in place until police personnel reopen the bridge to traffic.
Please use caution in the area and follow all directions provided by on-scene personnel.
