Zottola Construction Inc has notified Pittsburgh Regional Transit that sidewalk reconstruction work will require the temporary relocation of the bus stop on Wilkins Avenue at Beechwood Blvd beginning Monday, October 26, 2026.
The relocation is necessary due to sidewalk closures associated with construction activities. The stop relocation will be in effect 24 hours a day beginning Monday, October 26, 2026, with the start of service and continuing for approximately three (3) weeks.
Stop Relocation:
Wilkins Avenue at Beechwood Blvd (Stop ID 7642) will be relocated to Wilkins Avenue at Denniston Street

The City of Pittsburgh has provided permits to Pittsburgh Regional Transit and its contractor, Independence Excavating, to work on Forbes Avenue installing new shelters in the Oakland neighborhood of Pittsburgh beginning Friday, August 7, 2026.
Commencing with the start of service on Friday, August 7, 2026, crews will close the sidewalk at Forbes Avenue at S Bouquet to finalize construction of the new shelters.
The bus stop on Forbes Avenue at South Bouquet Street (Farside) will be inaccessible during this construction. The stop will move to Forbes Avenue at S Bouquet Nearside in front of 3800 Forbes Avenue.
