Sunday Closure of South 27th Street Between East Carson Street & Tunnel Way; Sidney Street Between South 27th & South 28th Streets (Blocking Bus Access at South 26th Street) - TacoMania Festival

The City of Pittsburgh has provided a permit to an organizer in order that they may close a series of streets in the South Side Works Complex for a special event on Sunday, October 4, 2026.

The event, a Taco Festival with multiple food trucks, will require the closure of South 27th Street from East Carson Street to Tunnel Way and Sidney Street from mid-block between South 26th & South 28th Streets.

South 26th Street will remain open to cars, but buses cannot use it.

All of the streets noted above will close on Sunday morning, October 4, 2026, at approximately 6:00 AM, with the closures continuing until around 11:00 PM that evening.
