ATTENTION REDUCED FARE RIDERS

Your new PRT ReadyFare™ card will be arriving by mail soon.

Please do not discard your ConnectCard® until you have read this information and confirmed that you can use your new ReadyFare™ card.

During the transition to the ReadyFare™ system, we identified a few issues that affect some reduced-fare riders. This guide explains your options while we work to resolve them.

Current Limitations

Although you are able to load store value onto your new ReadyFare card, at this time, riders enrolled in certain reduced-fare programs – including Allegheny Go, the Kids Card, and ACCESS – are not able to load 7-Day or 31-Day passes at the ReadyFare fare vending machines. We will let you know when this becomes available.

Additionally, retail outlets are not set up yet for ReadyFare. If you reload your cards at a retail partner location, continue to use your ConnectCard. We will let you know when retail locations become available.

If you are paying cash at the farebox, continue to use your ConnectCard for now.
