We adjust schedules three times a year. These changes will go into effect on Sunday, June 22, 2025. Please look closely at the changes below, as service has been adjusted on some routes based on current ridership and to improve reliability.

ROUTING CHANGES 

8-Perrysville – This route will now use 7th Street, turn right on Liberty Avenue, turn right on Stanwix Street, turn right on Fort Duquesne Boulevard, then left at 7th Street to exit downtown. This route will use the same routing and bus stops that the 13, 16, and 17 routes currently use. Temporary bus boarding pads will be installed at the existing Stanwix Street bus stop and the Fort Duquesne Boulevard bus stop. 

51L-Carrick Limited – Downtown routing has changed, and some trip times have been adjusted. The route will now use Smithfield Bridge, turn left on Fort Pitt Boulevard, right on Wood Street, right on Forbes Avenue, right on Smithfield Street and will use a new bus stop with a temporary bus boarding platform at the southeast corner of Wood and Forbes Avenues. 

77-Penn Hills – Downtown routing has changed. The route will now use Bigelow Boulevard, turn right on Sixth Avenue, turn right on Grant Street, turn left on Seventh Avenue, turn left on Liberty Avenue, turn around at Gateway Center, continue outbound along Liberty Avenue, turn right on Seventh Avenue, then continue onto Bigelow Boulevard to exit downtown. This route will use new bus stops along the new outbound routing on Liberty Avenue and Seventh Avenue. Some trip times have changed to improve operations. Weekday peak frequency has increased to every 40 minutes, while off-peak frequency has decreased to every 50 minutes. One trip has been eliminated, with a slight decrease to the span of service to improve route efficiency. 

81-Oak Hill – Downtown routing has changed, and some trip times have changed. The route will now use Centre Avenue, turn left on Washington Place, turn right on Fifth Avenue, turn left on Diamond Street, continue on Forbes Avenue, turn right on Wood Street, turn right on Liberty Avenue, turn right on Seventh Avenue, then continue onto Bigelow Boulevard to exit downtown. The route will now use new bus stops along the new inbound routing on Washington Place, Diamond Street, and a new bus stop with a temporary bus boarding platform at the northeast corner of Forbes Avenue and Grant Street, and a new bus stop in front of PNC Tower at the northeast corner of Forbes Avenue and Wood Street. 

82-Lincoln – Downtown routing has changed, and some weekday and weekend trip times have changed. The route will now use Centre Avenue, turn left on Washington Place, turn right on Fifth Avenue, turn left on Diamond Street, continue on Forbes Avenue, turn right on Wood Street, turn right on Liberty Avenue, turn right on Seventh Avenue, then continue onto Bigelow Boulevard to exit downtown. The route will now use new bus stops along the new inbound routing on Washington Place, Diamond Street, and a new bus stop with a temporary bus boarding platform at the northeast corner of Forbes Avenue and Grant Street, and a new bus stop in front of PNC Tower at the northeast corner of Forbes Avenue and Wood Street. 

83-Bedford Hill – Downtown routing has changed, and some trip times have been adjusted. The route will now use Centre Avenue, turn left on Washington Place, turn right on Fifth Avenue, turn left on Diamond Street, continue on Forbes Avenue, turn right on Wood Street, turn right on Liberty Avenue, turn right on Seventh Avenue, then continue onto Bigelow Boulevard to exit downtown. The route will now use new bus stops along the new inbound routing on Washington Place, Diamond Street, and a new bus stop with a temporary bus boarding platform at the northeast corner of Forbes Avenue and Grant Street, and a new bus stop in front of PNC Tower at the northeast corner of Forbes Avenue and Wood Street. 

G2-West Busway – This route will now use the PRTX downtown lanes. The route will now use Liberty Avenue to enter Downtown, turn right on Sixth Avenue, continue on Sixth Avenue at Center Avenue, turn right on Fifth Avenue, and then turn left on Liberty Avenue to exit downtown. This route will serve the five new PRTX University Line Bus Rapid Transit stations established at Ross Street Station, William Penn Station, Market Square Station, Wood Street PRTX Station, and Steel Plaza PRTX Station. 

P1-East Busway-All Stops – Downtown routing has changed. The route will now use the Martin Luther King Jr. East Busway to enter downtown, turn left on Grant Street, turn right on Fifth Avenue, turn right on Liberty Avenue, turn right on Sixth Avenue, turn left on Grant Street, and turn right onto the East Busway to exit downtown. There is a new bus stop on inbound Grant Street at Strawberry Way, and the P1 will utilize three of the PRTX University Line stations including at William Penn Station, Market Square Station, and Wood Street PRTX Station, and a new bus stop outbound on Grant Street at the US Steel Building. Some weekday and weekend trip times have changed. 

P12-Holiday Park Flyer – Downtown routing has changed. The route will enter downtown using the Martin Luther King Jr. East Busway, continue inbound on Liberty Avenue, turn left on Smithfield Street, turn left on Fifth Avenue, left on Grant Street, then right onto the East Busway to exit downtown. 

P16-Penn Hills Flyer – Downtown routing has changed. The route will enter downtown using the Martin Luther King Jr. East Busway, continue inbound on Liberty Avenue, turn left on Smithfield Street, turn left on Fifth Avenue, left on Grant Street, then right onto the East Busway to exit downtown. 

P17-Lincoln Park Flyer – Downtown routing has changed. The route will enter downtown using the Martin Luther King Jr. East Busway, then continue inbound on Liberty Avenue, turn around at the Gateway loop, continue outbound on Liberty Avenue, then use the East Busway to exit downtown. There are many bus stop changes to this route and new bus stops on Liberty Avenue. Some weekday trip times have changed. 

P67-Monroeville Flyer – Downtown routing has changed. The route will enter downtown using the Martin Luther King Jr. East Busway, continue inbound on Liberty Avenue, turn left on Smithfield Street, turn left on Fifth Avenue, left on Grant Street, then right onto the East Busway to exit downtown. 

P68-Braddock Hills Flyer – Some Saturday trip times have changed to improve scheduling efficiency. Downtown routing has changed. The route will enter downtown using the Martin Luther King Jr. East Busway, continue inbound on Liberty Avenue, turn left on Smithfield Street, turn left on Sixth Avenue, turn left on Grant Street, and then right onto the East Busway to exit downtown. 

P71-Swissvale Flyer – Some weekday trip times have changed to improve scheduling efficiency. Downtown routing has changed. The route will enter downtown using the Martin Luther King Jr. East Busway, continue inbound on Liberty Avenue, turn left on Smithfield Street, turn left on Sixth Avenue, turn left on Grant Street, and then right onto the East Busway to exit downtown. 

P69-Trafford Flyer – Downtown routing has changed. The route will enter downtown using the Martin Luther King Jr. East Busway, then continue inbound on Liberty Avenue, turn around at the Gateway loop, continue outbound on Liberty Avenue, then use the East Busway to exit downtown. There are many bus stop changes to this route and new bus stops on Liberty Avenue. Some weekday trip times have changed. 

P7-McKeesport Flyer – Downtown routing has changed. The route will enter downtown using the Martin Luther King Jr. East Busway, then continue inbound on Liberty Avenue, turn around at the Gateway loop, continue outbound on Liberty Avenue, then use the East Busway to exit downtown. There are many bus stop changes to this route and new bus stops on Liberty Avenue. 

P76-Lincoln Highway Flyer – Downtown routing has changed. The route will enter downtown using the Martin Luther King Jr. East Busway, then continue inbound on Liberty Avenue, turn around at the Gateway loop, continue outbound on Liberty Avenue, then use the East Busway to exit downtown. There are many bus stop changes to this route and new bus stops on Liberty Avenue. 

P78-Oakmont Flyer – Downtown routing has changed. The route will enter downtown using the Martin Luther King Jr. East Busway, then continue inbound on Liberty Avenue, turn around at the Gateway loop, continue outbound on Liberty Avenue, then use the East Busway to exit downtown. There are many bus stop changes to this route and new bus stops on Liberty Avenue. Some weekday trip times have changed. 

Y1-Large Flyer – Downtown routing has changed, and some trip times have been adjusted. The route will now use the Smithfield Bridge, turn left on Fort Pitt Boulevard, turn right on Wood Street, turn right on Forbes Avenue, turn right on Smithfield Street, and then will use a temporary bus boarding platform at the southeast corner of Wood Street and Forbes Avenue. 

Y45-Baldwin Manor Flyer – Downtown routing has changed, and some trip times have been adjusted. The route will now use the Smithfield Bridge, turn left on Fort Pitt Boulevard, turn right on Wood Street, turn right on Forbes Avenue, turn right on Smithfield Street, and then will use a temporary bus boarding platform at the southeast corner of Wood Street and Forbes Avenue. 

 

STOP CHANGES 

1-Freeport Road – Some downtown stops have changed. Some weekday trip times have changed to improve scheduling efficiency. 

2-Mount Royal – Some downtown stops have changed. 

4-Troy Hill – New downtown stops have been established at Liberty Avenue at Tito Way and 7th Street at Penn Avenue Far Side. 

6-Spring Hill – Some downtown stops have changed. Two Sunday outbound trips have been eliminated, and some trip times have changed to improve route efficiency. 

7-Spring Garden – The stop at 7th Street at Ft. Duquesne Boulevard has been replaced with a new stop at 7th Street at Penn Avenue Far Side traveling outbound through downtown. Some trip times have been adjusted. 

11-Fineview – Some downtown stops have changed. 

12-McKnight – Some downtown stops have changed. 

13-Bellevue – The outbound stop at Liberty Avenue at 6th Street has been replaced with a new stop at Liberty Avenue at 6th Street Near Side. 

15-Charles – Some downtown stops have changed. One Saturday inbound trip has been eliminated, and some trip times have changed to improve route efficiency. 

16-Brighton – The stop at Liberty Avenue at 6th Street has been replaced with a new stop at Liberty Avenue at 6th Street Near Side traveling outbound through downtown. 

17-Shadeland – The stop at Liberty Avenue at 6th Street has been replaced with a new stop at Liberty Avenue at 6th Street Near Side traveling outbound through downtown. 

19L-Emsworth Limited – Some downtown stops have changed. Some trip times have changed to improve on-time performance. 

20-Kennedy – Some downtown stops have changed. 

21-Coraopolis – Some downtown stops have changed. 

22-McCoy – Some downtown stops have changed. 

24-West Park – Some downtown stops have changed. 

26-Chartiers – Some downtown stops have changed. 

27-Fairywood – Some downtown stops have changed. 

28X-Airport Flyer – The stop at Liberty Avenue at Market Street has been replaced with a new stop at Liberty Avenue at Fifth Avenue Near Side traveling inbound through downtown. 

29-Robinson – Some downtown stops have changed. One outbound trip in the morning has been added due to ridership. 

31-Bridgeville – Some downtown stops have changed. 

39-Brookline – Some downtown stops have changed. 

40- Mount Washington – Some downtown stops have changed. 

41-Bower Hill – Some downtown stops have changed. 

43-Bailey – Some downtown stops have changed and. 

44-Knoxville – Some downtown stops have changed. 

48-Arlington – Some downtown stops have changed. 

65-Squirrel Hill – The stop at Liberty Avenue at Tito Way has been replaced with a new stop at Liberty Avenue at 7th Street Far Side traveling inbound through downtown. Some trip times have changed to improve on-time performance and scheduling efficiency. 

67-Monroeville – The stop at Liberty Avenue at Tito Way has been replaced with a new stop at Liberty Avenue at 7th Street Far Side traveling inbound through downtown. Trip times have been adjusted Monday through Saturday to increase scheduling efficiency, and some trip times have been adjusted to improve on-time performance. 

69-Trafford – The stop at Liberty Avenue at Tito Way has been replaced with Liberty Avenue at 7th Street Far Side traveling inbound through downtown due to NEXTransit. 

86-Liberty – The stop at Liberty Avenue at Wood Street has been replaced with a new stop at Liberty Avenue opposite 9th Street traveling outbound through downtown. Weekday peak frequency has decreased to every 31 minutes; off-peak frequency has decreased to every 43 minutes; six trips have been eliminated; and some trip times have been adjusted due to low route utilization and to increase route efficiency. 

87-Friendship – The stop at Liberty Avenue at Wood Street has been replaced with a new stop at Liberty Avenue opposite 9th Street traveling outbound through downtown. 

88-Penn – The stop at Liberty Avenue at Wood Street has been replaced with a new stop at Liberty Avenue opposite 9th Street traveling outbound through downtown. 

G3-Moon Flyer – Some downtown stops have changed. Reverse commute trips have been reduced to allow for interline opportunities downtown. Evening outbound trips have shifted 30 minutes earlier due to ridership and increase efficiency. 

G31-Bridgeville Flyer – Some downtown stops have changed. Reverse commute trips have been reduced to allow for interline opportunities downtown. Evening outbound trips have shifted 30 minutes earlier due to ridership and increase efficiency. 

O1-Ross Flyer – Some downtown stops have changed. Commute trips have been reduced to allow for interline opportunities downtown 

O12-McKnight Flyer – Some downtown stops have changed. Commute trips have been reduced to allow for interline opportunities downtown. 

O5-Thompson Run Flyer – Some downtown stops have changed. Some weekday trip times have changed to improve scheduling efficiency. 

P13-Mount Royal Flyer – New downtown stops have been established at Liberty Avenue at Tito Way and 7th Street at Penn Avenue Far Side.

Five new stations have been established at Ross Street, William Penn, Market Square, Wood Street, and Steel Plaza.   All trips will start and end at Mellon Terrace and service on North Euclid Avenue and North St. Clair Street has been eliminated. Some weekday and weekend trip times have changed. 

 

ADDITIONAL CHANGES: 

54-Northside-Oakland-South Side – Frequency during the weekday peak hours has increased to every 20 minutes to address overcrowding and improve route efficiency. 

55-Glassport – One weekday round trip has been added during the late evening hours to improve passenger wait times. 

58-Greenfield – Some trip times will be adjusted to improve on-time performance and scheduling efficiency. 

71A-Negley – All trips will start and end at Mellon Terrace and service on North Euclid Avenue and North St. Clair Street has been eliminated. Some weekday and weekend trip times have changed. 

79-East Hills – Some weekday trip times have changed to improve scheduling efficiency. 

93-Lawrenceville-Hazelwood – Some trip times have changed to improve scheduling efficiency.
