Beginning in 2023, Pittsburgh Regional Transit will adjust schedules three times a year (we previously adjusted schedules four times a year). 

These changes are effective Sunday, February 19, 2023. Please look closely at the changes below, as service has been reduced on some routes based on current ridership and to improve reliability.

To streamline and condense schedules, some bus stop stops have been removed from the online and paper schedules, however, those stops will continue to be served and service is not affected.

1-Freeport Road – Some weekday and weekend trip times have changed. Weekday frequency has been changed from 30 minutes to 24 to 32 minutes all day, and remains at 60 minutes after 9 p.m.

6-Spring Hill – Some weekday and weekend trip times have changed.

14-Ohio Valley – Some weekday and weekend trip times have changed. Three weekday trips have been removed. Weekday frequency has been changed from 36 minutes to 40 minutes all day and remains 60 minutes after 9:30 p.m.

28X-Airport Flyer – Some weekday and weekend trip times have changed.

31-Bridgeville – Some weekday and weekend trip times have changed.

54-Northside-Oakland-South Side – One inbound trip that previously ended in Bon Air will now end at South Hills Junction to improve frequency from South Hills Junction.

59-Mon Valley – Some trip times have changed. With the closure of the Century III Park and Ride, riders who use the 59-Mon Valley should board at South Mall Entrance Drive at PNC Driveway (Stop #9401).

61A-North Braddock – Some weekday and weekend trip times have changed. Buses return to regular routing after the reopening of the Fern Hollow Bridge.

61B-Braddock-Swissvale - Some weekday and weekend trip times have changed. Buses return to regular routing after the reopening of the Fern Hollow Bridge.

61C-McKeesport-Homestead - Some weekday and weekend trip times have changed.

61D-Murray - Some weekday trip times have changed.

64-Lawrenceville-Waterfront - Some weekday trip times have changed.

69-Trafford - Some weekday and weekend trip times have changed.

77-Penn Hills - Some weekday and weekend trip times have changed.

86-Liberty - Some weekday and weekend trip times have changed.

87-Friendship - Some weekday and weekend trip times have changed.

88-Penn - Some weekday and weekend trip times have changed.

91-Butler Street – One inbound trip was removed.

93-Lawrenceville-Hazelwood - Some weekday and weekend trip times have changed. Two weekday afternoon trips, one inbound and one outbound, were added.

P1-East Busway-All Stops – Some weekday evening trip times have changed.

P10-Allegheny Valley Flyer - Some weekday trip times have changed.

P69-Trafford Flyer - Some weekday trip times have changed. The outbound loop in Trafford has been reversed, now following the same path as the 69-Trafford. A new stop has been established at Burger King for convenience.

P76-Lincoln Highway Flyer - Some weekday trip times have changed.

P78-Oakmont Flyer - Some weekday trip times have changed.

Y1-Large Flyer – Some weekday trip times have changed. With the closure of the Century III Park and Ride, the Y1 no longer services that location. Riders heading to downtown Pittsburgh should instead board the Y1 from the Large Park and Ride, located at 219 Peters Creek Road in Jefferson Hills.

Y46-Elizabeth Flyer – Some weekday and weekend trip times have changed. With the closure of the Century III Park and Ride, riders who use Y46 can board on Hwy Rt 51 at South Mall Entrance Dr. stop (Stop #9607) or Hwy Rt 51 opposite Century III Mall (Stop #20520).

Century III Park and Ride - The Century III Mall Park and Ride was closed effective Feb. 6, 2023, following the cancellation of the license agreement by the mall management. Riders of the Y1-Large Flyer, Y46-Elizabeth Flyer or 59-Mon Valley will need to board their buses from different stops. Riders heading to downtown Pittsburgh should board the Y1 from the Large Park and Ride, located at 219 Peters Creek Road in Jefferson Hills.
