Getting There
The 28X-Airport Flyer is the most direct way to get from Pittsburgh's East End and downtown to Pittsburgh International Airport.
When traveling toward the airport, the 28X-Airport Flyer makes stops in Point Breeze, Shadyside, Oakland, and downtown Pittsburgh, as well as along West Carson Street and the West Busway. These stops are for boarding only.
When traveling toward downtown Pittsburgh, 28X-Airport Flyer makes stops along the West Busway, West Carson Street, in downtown Pittsburgh, Oakland, Shadyside, and Point Breeze. These stops are for discharge only.
All other stops can be used for boarding or discharge.
Fares
The one-way fare to and from Pittsburgh International Airport is $2.75 with a ConnectCard or cash. Fares are paid upon boarding the bus.
A ticket vending machine machine is located near Baggage Claim inside Door #2.
You can also use our easy Mobile Ticketing Application to pay your fare.
Service
PRT operates 28X - Airport Flyer service to and from Pittsburgh International Airport on weekdays every 32 minutes until 10 p.m. and then every 44 minutes from 10 p.m. to end of service; every 33 minutes on Saturdays; and every 36 minutes on Sundays to accommodate the increased travel time to and from the new layover location.
Passengers have priority over luggage; if there are people standing, kindly place your luggage on your lap or on the floor to allow others to sit. Drivers are unable to help with your luggage; you are responsible for handling your bags both on and off the vehicle.
